I love to read and truly identify as a bookworm that speeds through books! John Maxwell said that "successful leaders are learners and the process is ongoing." This quote summarizes my life, professionally and personally. I am always seeking information and knowledge to enhance my intellectual curiosity. And a coffee shop is the best place to enjoy a good book.

What I'm Reading in 2023
Divorce can have a tremendouse affect on your finances even for those who are making "good money". Since my divorce in 2019, I have rebuilt my credit and recently started to feel comfortable saving more money and allocating more of my salary to my 401k. This book helped me create a financial roadmap and enjoy life without worrying about money.
Not only does Tina Wells provide a 4-step approach to achieve work-life balance, she has a household/office line at Target to help you achieve it.
If you are seeking a book that is connected to what a large majority of Black women encounter: searching for love, career growth, baby fever and balancing friendships - read this and the others in the series. This book is the final in a three book series that resonated with experience in my early career. However, I will still wanting more from the main character's experience at the end of the novel.
